Popcorn

Popcorn is from God. That’s all I gotta say.

I crave that salty taste right before bed, and for years it’s been a thing with me. I get really restless, fidgeting even. I mean, I’ve got some self-control — I’m a vegan, afterall. But there are still those places, even for the vegan. There’s that one food; that cookie, that … whatever. It’s just there. In our lives, all … the … time. It’s crazy I tell you.  And you gotta be crazy to eat like this in a world gone completely food crazy. In comes that sweet salvation for the snack-happy in all of us — popcorn!

But here’s a hint: Exnay on the altsay! Replace that salt with some nutritional yeast. Just put a like bit of olive oil to make it stick and you’ve got some yumminess that will most definitely make the feast table in paradise.

Now I often down a bowl before bed but still wake up hungry and guilt free. Oh, one more thing. Invest in an air popper. Get the good corn. Take a minute and make that snake great. Pop it. Season it. Toss it. Eat it. Then come back here and post a comment and let the world know you’re a crazy vegan …. and lovin’ it!
