Well, I feel GREAT! I started this pure Vegan diet on 7/15/10 (and this blog on the same day) and I have now lost seven more pounds and have loads of energy. The kicker is I haven't had time to excersice… at all, even though I bought a new treadmill to get back into running again. It's just been way to busy in the office and in life to get on the thing. Still, I feel great. I know once I start my excersize routine again my energy is going to increase even more. But for now, my body has been cleansing unwated toxins and clearing out the excess waste and it's a wonderful feeling. I thought I would miss butter the most. And oils in general. But I am really not, and I even find myself starting to crave veggies! Several days I've just sauted a huge mound of squash, zucs, and onion (and sometimes mushrooms) and eaten it all. I just now finished off an enormous salad, trying out some new dressings. I love being able to eat a huge plate of food knowing the whole time that every ounce of it is good for my body and won't leave me "heavy" and filled up. In three hours I'll be hungry again so I'll eat a handfull of Cashews (which has become my routine around 3 or 4 pm each day). Drinking green tea and water in the afternoons. Three weeks and counting… na, I'm going to stop counting at some point and then try to remember what it was like before I became a (really) crazy vegan. Smiles.
