I have to get better at research and shopping. I'm learning that, in order to be good and crazy vegan on a fast-food planet I have to do my home-work. I am far too weak to say no to the convienence foods right now; maybe someday I'll be better. But how much easier life would be if the nearby foods were all healthy ones. So here's my first week's shopping list:
Vegan Salad Dressing – 2 Bottles
Edamame – Large Quanity (High in Protein!)
Garbanzos Beans – 2 pkgs
English walnuts – 2 Bags
Good Brand of Soy Milk – 1/2 Gal.
Very Nutty Cereal – 2 Kinds
Orange Juice – 1/2 Gal.
Portebello Mushrooms – 1 pkg
Veggie Burgers – Suprise me
Rye Bread – 1 Loaf
Vegan Flat Bread – I pkg
Veggie Wash:
1 cup water 1 cup vinegar 2 TBS baking soda 2 TBS lemon juice. Directions: Mix ingredients then pour in clean spray bottle. Spray fresh vegetables & fruit generously.
